The Vajolet alpin hut
The Refuge is reached from Pera di Fassa with a minibus service to reach as far as the Gardeccia Refuge and from here it is an hour’s walk. A chair lift also departs from Pera to arrive at Pian Pecei and the Gardeccia Refuge is 30 minutes away. Our refuge is reached continuing on the same road. The Catinaccio cableway departs from Vigo di Fassa to arrive as far as the Ciampedie, an hour and a half away on foot.
Numerous climbs of varying difficulties are possible (East wall of the Catinaccio, Punta Emma and Vajolet Towers). A natural rock gym (see photo below) exists ten minutes from the Refuge with a score of routes of varying difficulties with a length of 20-30 metres.
